A Social Co-Working event for people working in food, beverage and hospitality.
What is Social Co-Working?
It’s about getting together with like-minded industry peers, for a day of work, where you can be productive and get stuff done whilst meeting new people and enjoying a social lunch.
Regular co-working spaces can be quite cold, especially when you are just hot-desking. We aim to create a work culture that is a bit more social but still productive. It’s a welcome break from working on your own, and the chance to meet some fun and interesting new contacts.
Made in partnership with the amazing Food Marketing Club. If you’re not there already, do join us over in the Facebook group as well. It’s a mega supportive community of over 1500 food, drink and hospitality marketers with answers for just about any question you’d ever need help answering.
How does it work?
We host two types of events. Our regular monthly meet up is on the last Wednesday of each month. It is free to attend, just purchase your own drinks and food throughout the day.
We also plan to negotiate fixed-price hospitality days. These would be in a restaurant space, where we are welcome to work and have coffees and lunch included.
Are there any organised talks or activities?
Mostly, we aim to keep it simple and make this about social co-working, so you can come and have a productive day, doing your own work.
Of course, we are also here to be social too, so we lunch together and have after-work drinks.
We are keen to create some live events and talks at the end of the day in partnership with Food Marketing Club. So watch this space and get in touch if you have any ideas for interesting talks or activities.

How’s your headshot, hun?
Unfortunately, this event has been cancelled due to illness. We plan to reschedule the headshot session for April’s Event.
This month at Meet Work Eat, Sean Cloudsdale will be offering free professional headshots.
Quality headshots not only help you make a great first and lasting impression, but they also build trust and reinforce professionalism.
If you are interested in getting your headshot done, please let Sean know by emailing email@example.com
We will also be co-working as usual at the lovely Benk & Bo from 8am – 5pm. It’s free to come along and work for the day, you just need to pay for coffees, teas and snacks as you go.
